Our long range Wireless Access point is a dependable and cost-effective WLAN device in a weatherproof enclosure making it ideal for outdoor use or in industrial environments. Operating in the 2.4GHz ISM band it supports high-speed wireless networking and is IEEE 802.11 compliant. This a high power 500mW Wireless Access Point creates a transparent wireless bridge between two networks up to 3km apart with good line of sight. It can be configured as a Wireless Access Point or a Wireless Client/Bridge allowing one device to simplify complex wireless networks. It is also used for Wireless Video Surveillance often.
This long range wireless access point offers a built-in 14dBi dual polarity directional panel antenna for standard applications. Powered by an Atheros 9 series chipset, it supports a maximum bandwidth of 150MBps. Wireless security is implemented with the selection of WEP, WPA or WPA2 encryption.
Installation is super quick and easy because of the plug and play features which have been built into the system.
